Abstract

ABSTRAK Supervisi merupakan salah satu faktor penting sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh supervisor suatu pendidikan. Supervisi akademik merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan memberi bantuan teknis kepada guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara efektif. Salah satu tugas kepala sekolah adalah sebagai supervisor, yaitu mensupervisi pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga pendidik. Untuk itu, Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin yang mempunyai tugas sebagai supervisor untuk mensupervisi secara langsung, dalam memberikan bimbingan dan arahan kepada guru-guru untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengkaji mengenai implementasi supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Metodelogi dalam penelitian ini menggunaka jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, sumber data penelitian yaitu sumber data primer yaitu dengan subjek penelitian yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum dan guru MA Al-Hikmah dan sumber data sekunder berupa profil sekolah MA Al-Hikmah, buku-buku ilmiah dan dokumen�dokumen pendukung lainnya. Penelitian ini di lakukan di MA Al�Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Dan analisis data yang digunakan dengan redukasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung telah dilakukan dengan cukup baik hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian, yaitu: 1. Perencanaan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Kepala sekolah melaksanakan salah satu tugasnya yaitu sebagai supervisor dengan membuat perencanaan supervisi sesuai kebutuhan guru, dalam merencanakan program supervisi kepala sekolah menentukan tujuan supervisi akademik, selanjutnya membuat jadwal supervisi, menyiapkan instrumen supervisi berupa instrumen perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, instrumen penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran, instrumen observasi kelas, daftar pertanyaan setelah observasi, instrumen supervisi kunjungan kelas, instrumen kunjungan iv kelas pada proses pembelajaran, membuat rencana tindak lanjut supervisi dan rekapitulasi hasil supervisi. . 2. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MA Al�Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Kepala sekolah telah melaksanakan supervisi akademik dengan menggunakan teknik-teknik supervisi seperti melakukan kunjungan kelas, observasi kelas, percakapan pribadi, saling mengunjungi kelas, menilai diri sendiri, pertemuan orientasi bagi guru, panitia penyelenggara, dan rapat guru. 3. Evaluasi dan Tindak lanjut supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Kepala sekolah melaksanakan kompetensi supervisi yaitu tindak lanjut supervisi akademik, tindak lanjut yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah berupa pemberian penguatan atau penghargaan kepada guru yang hasil penilaian supervisinya memuaskan penghargaan yang diberikan kepala sekolah biasanya berupa piagam, dan kepala sekolah juga memberikan pembinaan dan pelatihan kepada guru berupa seminar atau workshop kepada guru yang hasil penilaian supervisinya kurang memuaskan, namun tak hanya guru yang hasil penilaiannya kurang yang ikut workshop tetapi ada beberapa guru yang dipilih untuk ikut serta mengikuti workshop agar lebih meningkat lagi dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran. Academic supervis ion is an activity carried out by providing technical assistance to teachers in carrying out the learning process which aims to improve teacher performance so that it can improve the quality of learning effectively. One of the principal's duties is as a supervisor, namely supervising the work carried out by educators. For this reason, the principal as a leader has the duty as a supervisor to supervise directly, in providing guidance and direction to teachers to improve teacher performance in the learning process. This study aims to determine and examine the implementation of the principal's academic supervision in improving teacher performance. The methodology in this study uses a qualitative descriptive type of research, the source of research data is the primary data source, namely the research subject consisting of the principal, curriculum wakka and MA Al-Hikmah teachers and secondary data sources in the form of the MA Al-Hikmah school profile, books scientific and other supporting documents. This research was conducted at MA Al�Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. And the data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Principal's Academic Supervision in Improving Teacher Performance at MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung has been carried out quite well, this can be proven by the results of the study, namely: 1. Planning for academic supervision in improving teacher performance at MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. The principal carries out one of his duties, namely as a supervisor by making supervision plans according to the needs of the teacher, in planning the supervision program the principal determines the goals of academic supervision, then makes a supervision schedule, prepares supervision instruments in the form of learning activity planning instruments, learning implementation assessment instruments, class observation instruments , a list of questions after observation, class visit supervision instruments, class visit instruments in the learning process, making follow-up plans for supervision and recapitulation of supervision results. 2. Implementation of the principal's academic vi supervision in improving teacher performance at MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. The principal has carried out academic supervision using supervision techniques such as conducting class visits, class observations, private conversations, visiting each other's classes, self-assessment , orientation meetings for teachers, organizing committees, and teacher meetings. 3. Follow-up of the principal's academic supervision in improving teacher performance at MA Al-Hikmah Kedaton Bandar Lampung. Principals carry out supervisory competencies, namely follow-up to academic supervision, follow-up carried out by school principals in the form of providing reinforcement or awards to teachers whose supervisory assessment results are satisfactory, awards given by principals are usually in the form of a charter, and principals also provide guidance and training to teachers in the form of seminars or workshops for teachers whose supervisory assessment results are unsatisfactory, but not only teachers whose assessment results are lacking who attend workshops but there are several teachers who are selected to participate in workshops to further improve the learning process.
