Abstract

ABSTRACT The curriculum in higher education must be managed properly because the curriculum is a guarantor of the assessment system and quality control system for inputs and outcomes of higher education. Islamic Religious Universities in the city of Metro are Metro State Islamic Institute, Agus Salim Metro Islamic Institute, Ma'arif Nahdlatul Ulama Metro Institute of Islamic Religion and Metro Muhammadiyah University. The background and status of different campuses under the organization and accreditation is an attraction for further study and research in Curriculum Management based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework for Islamic Religious Education study programs. The purpose of this study is to find and describe the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework at the Metro City Islamic Religious College. This research is a field research using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Research data sources consist of deans, vice deans for academics, heads of study programs, lecturers and other supporting data sources. Collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification and data validity testing using data triangulation. The results of the study found 1) Curriculum planning begins with understanding the foundation that is used as the basis for curriculum preparation. Curriculum planning involves various parties, has principles, characteristics and has components in its planning. 2) Organizing the curriculum begins with understanding the procedures in organizing the curriculum, paying attention to the factors and determining the model in organizing the curriculum. 3) The implementation of the curriculum in the Islamic Religious Education study program is carried out by conducting a study of the approaches used in the implementation of the curriculum and models and the factors that influence the implementation of the curriculum. 4) Evaluation of the curriculum based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework in the Islamic Religious Education study program at Islamic Higher Education has certain goals and roles. Curriculum evaluation in the Islamic Religious Education study program is carried out with several curriculum evaluation model approaches, carried out with the principles and procedures in evaluating the curriculum.
