Abstract

ABSTRAK PERAN PEMERINTAH DESA DALAM MENGATASI MASALAH KEJAHATAN PADA MASYARAKAT (Studi Pada Desa Karang Anyar Kecamatan Jati Agung Kabupaten Lampung Selatan) Oleh: Thamara Sama Yuti Terjadinya kriminalitas di Desa Karang Anyar menyebabkan banyaknya kasus kejahatan yang terjadi kemudian pergaulan bebas yang dilakukan oleh remaja-remaja yang ada disana juga menyebabkan terjadinya masalah-masalah kejahatan yang terjadi seperti pencurian dan kekerasan. Oleh karena itu peran dari pemerintah desa memang sangat diperlukan dalam hal ini seperti kepedulian dan kepekaan akan hal tersebut yang menjadi tujuan utama dari peran pemerintah desa tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian ini yaitu "Field Research" atau penelitian lapangan yang Bersifat Deskriptif Kualitatif. Adapun dalam hal ini peneliti melakukan wawancara untuk mendapatkan jawaban dari masalah yang ada kepada informan�informan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sudah adanya peran yang dilakukan oleh pihak pemerintah desa dalam mengatasi masalah�masalah kejahatan seperti membantu mengaktifkan kembali keberadaan pos polisi yang ada di dekat balai desa, melaksanakan ronda malam serta mengadakan sosialisasi dengan masyarakat. Hal ini seharusnya sudah menjadi langkah baik yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah desa karang anyar mengingat sebelumnya kurang optimalnya peran dari pemerintah desa dalam mengatasi masalah kejahatan yang menyebabkan masih adanya masalah kejahatan di desa karang anyar. Namun sepertinya hal itu masih belum cukup karena tidak aktifnya keberadaan pos polisi, kurang meratanya pelaksanaan ronda malam serta kurang optimalnya pemberian sosialisasi pada masyarakat. Adapun hambatan dari pemerintah desa dalam mengatasi masalah kejahatan yaitu: banyaknya dusun di desa karang anyar yang terdapat 17 dusun sehingga pemerintah deaa sulit untuk mengoordinasikan dan memantau kegiatan pelaksanaan ronda malam di setiap dusun dan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kewaspadaan masalah kejahatan yang terjadi. Kata kunci: Pemerintah Desa, Kejahatan, Masyarakat ABSTRACT The Role of the Village Government in Overcoming Crime Problems in the Community (Study in Karang Anyar Village,Jati Agung District,South Lampung Selatan) By: Thamara Sama Yuti The occurrence of crime in Karang Anyar Village led to many crime cases that occurred and promiscuity by teenagers who were there also led to crime problems such as theft and violence. Therefore the role of the village government is really needed in this case, such as concern and sensitivity to this matter which is the main goal of the role of the village government. This research uses this type of research, namely “Field Research” or field research that is descriptive qualitative in nature. As for in this case the researcher conducted interviews to get answers to the problems that existed with the informants. The results of this study indicate that there has been a role played by the Karang Anyar village government in overcoming crime problems such as helping to reactivate the existence of a police post near the village hall, carrying out night patrols and conducting socialization with the community. This sould have been a good step taken by the village government of Karang Anyar considering that previously the role of the village government was not optimal in overcoming the problem of crime wich caused the problem of crime to persist in Karang Anyar village. However, it seems that this is still not enough due to the inactive presence of police posts, the uneven implementation of night patrols and the lack of optimal outreach to the community.
