Abstract

ABSTRAK Model pembelajaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan sikap peserta didik terhadap sekitarnya. Namun, kemampuan higher order thinking skill (HOTS) dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik di SMAN 1 Kalianda masih tergolong rendah, sehingga salah satunya langkah upaya dalam perbaikan terhadap kemampuan higher order thinking skill (HOTS) dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran peer led guided inquiry (PLGI). Penggunaan model pembelajaran peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) sebagai salah satu langkah upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan higher order thinking skill (HOTS) dan sikap ilmiah peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran peer led guided inquiry terhadap higher order thinking skills dan sikap ilmiah pada peserta didik kelas XII di SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda. Adapun jenis metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment), dengan menggunakan desain penelitian posttest only kontrol group design. penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Kalianda dengan menggunakan populasi dari kelas XII MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XII MIPA 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan peneliti pada pada pengujian uji - t didapatkan hasil data kemampuan berpikir tingkat dengan nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,01 < α (0,05) dan hasil data sikap ilmiah dengan nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,01 < α (0,05). Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan padamodel pembelajaran peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) terhadap higher order thinking skill (HOTS) peserta didik. However, the ability of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and scientific attitudes of students at SMAN 1 Kalianda is still relatively low, so one of the steps in improving the ability of higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and scientific attitudes of students is using the peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) learning model. The use of the peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) learning model as one of the steps to improve the higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and scientific attitudes of students. This study aims to determine the influence of the peer led guided inquiry learning model on higher order thinking skills and scientific attitudes in class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Kalianda. The type of research method used is the quasi�experimental method, using a posttest only control group design research design. this research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kalianda using the population from class XII MIPA 5 as a control class and XII MIPA 6 as an experiment class. Based on the results of the study obtained by the researchers in the test - t obtained the results of data on the ability higher order thinking skills (HOTS) with sig values. (2- tailed) 0.01 < α (0.05) and the results of scientific attitude data with sig values. (2-tailed) 0.01 < α (0.05). It can be concluded, that there is a significant influence on the peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) learning model on the higher order thinking skills (HOTS) of students.
