Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah yang terjadi di MIN 10 Bandar Lampung ialah masih kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik dalam materi yang diberikan guru, terutama Pembelajaran IPA materi organ pencernaan sehingga pola berpikir peserta didik masih kurang berkembang sehingga indikator pencapaian pembelajaran belum tuntas, maka dari itu kemampuan berpikir kritis perlu dibangun pada siswa agar siswa dapat tuntas dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan model Problem Beased Learning (PBL) dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didi kelas V pada materi organ pencernaan di MIN 10 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Quasy Experiment dan desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V A dan V B sebanyak 64 peserta didik. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulam data berupa tes, non tes, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan menggunakan analisis statistik Uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pada kelas eksperimen dengan metode pembelajaran Problem Beased Learning (PBL) diperoleh nilai rata-ratanya 76. Sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan strategi Discovery Learning rata�ratanya 68. Kemudian untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis pada kelas ekperimen diperoleh persentase sebesar 80%, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol yaitu persentasenya 73%. Hasil uji t berpikir kritis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasilnya yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima. Sedangkan motivasi belajar hasilnya 0,001 < 0,05. Berdasarkan kriteria uji-t dari hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi Problem Beased Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPA kelas V MIN 10 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Kata Kunci: Problem Beased Learning (PBL), Kemampuan berpikir kritis. iv ABSTRACT The problem that occurs in MIN 10 Bandar Lampung is that there are still many deficiencies in the level of understanding of students who still do not fully understand the material provided so that the thinking patterns of students are not complete, for example, such as question and answer indicators in science learning and so on. , therefore the ability to think critically needs to be built in students. This study aims to determine science learning using Problem Based Learning (PBL) can affect the critical thinking ability of class V participants on digestive organ material at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2022/2023 This type of research is quantitative research with the Quasy Experiment method and the design used is Pretest-Posttest Group Design. The population in this study was class V A and V B as many as 64 learners. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection tools in the form of tests, non-tests, and documentation. The test instruments are in the form of multiple choice and essays and questionnaires using statistical analysis t-test. Based on the results of the study, it is known that in the experimental class with the Problem Beased Learning (PBL) learning method, the average score was 76. While the control class using the Discopy Learning strategy averaged 68. Then for the ability to think critically in the experiment class, a percentage of 80% was obtained, while for the control class, the percentage was 73%. The results of the critical thinking t test with a significance level of 5%. The result is 0.000 < 0.05 so Ha is accepted. While the motivation to learn results 0.001 < 0.05. Based on the t-test criteria from the results obtained, it shows that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the Problem Beased Learning (PBL) strategy on the critical thinking ability of science class V MIN 10 Bandar Lampung for the 2022/2023 school year.
