Abstract

ABSTRAK The Relationship Between Peer Support And Self-Control With Juvenlie Delinquency In Student Of SMK Nurul Huda Sukaraja Oku Timur By: Venny Lestari Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. One of the developmental tasks that must be passed is related to the ability to control self and establish relationships with more intimate peers. However, from these developmental tasks there are various problems, one of which is related to juvenile delinquency. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between peer support and self-control with juvenile delinquency. The research was conducted on students of SMK Nurul Huda class XI with a subject of 65 students. The sampling technique of this research used purposive sampling. The data collection method used 3 scales, namely the juvenile delinquency scale of 43 items (α = 0.961), the peer support scale of 21 items (α = 0.890), and the self-control scale of 21 items (α = 0.905). The analytical technique used in this study is multiple regression with the help of JASP Ver 15 software. The results of this study indicate the value of the correlation coefficient (rx1-y) = -0.438 with p<0.001 which means that there is a significant negative relationship between peer support and juvenile delinquency. Furthermore, the results showed the value of the correlation coefficient (rx2-y) = -0.680 and a significance value of p <0.001 which means that there is a significant negative relationship between self-control and juvenile delinquency. Finally, the results of this study showed the value of R = 0.705 and the value of F = 30.55 with a significance of p < 0.001 which means that there is a significant relationship between peer support and self-control with juvenile delinquency. Salah satu tugas perkembangan yang harus dilewati adalah terkait kemampuan kontrol diri dan menjalin hubungan dengan teman sebaya yang lebih intim. Namun demikian dari tugas perkembangan tersebut terdapat beragam permasalahan salah satunya terkait kenakalan remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan teman sebaya dan kontrol diri dengan kenakalan remaja. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa SMK Nurul Huda kelas XI dengan subjek 65 siswa. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian ini mengunakan purposive sampling. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan 3 skala, yaitu skala kenakalan remaja sebanyak 43 aitem (α= 0.961), skala dukungan teman sebaya sebanyak 21 aitem (α= 0.890), dan skala kontrol diri sebanyak 21 aitem (α= 0.905). Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda dengan bantuan software JASP Ver 15. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai koefisien korelasi (rx1-y) = -0,438 dengan p< 0.001 yang artinya ada hubungan negatif signifikan antara dukungan teman sebaya dengan kenakalan remaja. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai koefisien korelasi (rx2- y) = -0,680 dan nilai signifikansi p <0,001 yang artinya ada hubungan negatif signifikan kontrol diri dengan kenakalan remaja. Terakahir hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai R = 0,705 dan nilai F = 30,55 dengan signifikansi p < 0.001 yang artinya ada hubungan signifikan dukungan teman sebaya dan kontrol diri dengan kenakalan remaja.
