Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap sosial siswa kelas IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Mengingat masih rendahnya kecerdasan emosional dan sikap sosial siswa di kelas IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kecerdasan emosional dan sikap sosial siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua peserta didik kelas IV di MIN 6 Bandar Lampung sebanyak 101 peserta didik. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 81 peserta didik dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling, dengan rumus slovin dengan taraf 5% teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk Skala Likert. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik korelasi Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap sosial siswa kelas IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung dengan koefisien korelasi nilai pearson sebesar rhitung sebesar 0,593 dan rtabel sebesar 0,216 dengan nilai signifikan 0,05. Berarti rhitung > rtabel (0,593 > 0,216) dengan nilai signifikan p < 0,05. Hasil nilai koefisien determinasi (R 2 ) diperoleh hasil 0,351 yang berarti menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional terhadap sikap sosial siswa sebesar 35,1% sedangkan 64,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan sikap sosial siswa kelas IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. Given the low emotional intelligence and social attitudes of students in class IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung. This research is a correlational study with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study are students' emotional intelligence and social attitudes. The population of this study were all students of class IV at MIN 6 Bandar Lampung totaling 101 students. The total sample was 81 students using the proportional random sampling technique, with the slovin formula with a 5% level. The data collection technique used a questionnaire expressed in the form of a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is the Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and social attitudes of fourth grade students at MIN 6 Bandar Lampung with a correlation coefficient of Pearson values of rcount of 0.593 and rtable of 0.216 with a significant value of 0.05. Means rcount > rtable (0.593 > 0.216) with a significant value of p <0.05. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained results of 0.351, which means that emotional intelligence on students' social attitudes is 35.1% while 64.9% is influenced by other variables. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and social attitudes of class IV MIN 6 Bandar Lampung students.
