Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh guru di SDN 1 Way Huwi telah menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigatioin dalam pembelajaran. Tetapi hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Way Huwi ini masih rendah. Padahal dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation seharusnya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Way Huwi. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data analisis melalui langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik, triangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah saat melaksanakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation, pendidik di SDN 1 Way Huwi sudah melaksanakan dengan baik. Namun masih ada beberapa langkah yang belum terlaksana seperti pendidik melewatkan langkah keenam dalam Group Investigation (GI) yaitu penilaian. Pada langkah ini pendidik tidak mengajak peserta didik bersama-sama menilai hasil investigasi kelompok lain nya, pendidik juga tidak mengarahkan peserta didik apakah hasil investigasi mereka benar semua atau ada yang kurang tepat, serta pendidik tidak memberikan pujian atau reward kepada peserta didik atau kelompok yang hasil investigasi nya sangat bagus. Langkah ini yang belum dilaksanakan dengan tepat mengakibatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Way Huwi masih rendah. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran, Group Investigasion dan Hasil Belajar. iii ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the teacher at SDN 1 Way Huwi using the Group Investigation learning model in learning. However, the learning outcomes of fourth-graders at SDN 1 Way Huwi are still low. Using the Group Investigation learning model should be able to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Group Investigation (GI) learning model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Way Huwi. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods using data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction steps, data presentation, and concluding. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by technique triangulation, source triangulation, and time triangulation. The result of this research is that when implementing the Group Investigation learning model, educators at SDN 1 Way Huwi have implemented it well. However, there are still some steps that have not been implemented, such as the educator skipping the sixth step in the Group Investigation (GI) which is assessment. At this step the educator does not invite students to jointly assess the results of the investigations of other groups, the educator also does not direct students on whether the results of their investigations are all correct or some are inaccurate, and the educator does not give praise or rewards to students or groups whose results are not correct. The investigation is very good. This step, which has not been implemented properly, results in the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Way Huwi being still low.
