Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Konseling Kelompok Teknik Cognitive Restructuring dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Peserta didik Kelas VII di MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Tengah. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian One Grub Pretest-Posttest populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 36 peserta didik dengan jumlah sample 6 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, kuesioner/angket. Data primer diperoleh langsung dari responden yaitu masih ada yang belum memahami atau belum paham pada salah satu mata pelajaran di kelas terbukti dengan adanya laporan dari wali kelas yaitu membolos ketika mata pelajaran yang dianggapnya susah dan juga merasa pesimis dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki sehingga nilai yang didapatkan tidak mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang telah di tentukan, kurang aktif, menunda mengerjakan tugas, malas membaca buku dan malas mendengarkan penjelasan guru sedangkan data sekunder berupa teori-teori motivasi, fungsi, ciri-ciri, aspek dan factor yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum mengikuti layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Cognitive Restructuring adalah 77,5 dan setelah mengikuti layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Cognitive Restructuring menjadi 110. Dari hasil uji wilxocon nilai Z yang didapat sebesar -signifikan 0,027 dimana 0,027>0,05 maka Ho ditolak Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar peserta didik meningkat setelah mengikuti layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Cognitive Restructuring pada peserta didik kelas VII di Mts Negeri 1 Lampung Tengah. The results showed that before attending group counseling services with the Cognitive Restructuring technique it was 77.5 and after participating in group counseling services with the Cognitive Restructuring technique it was 110. From the results of the Wilxocon test the value of Z obtained was -significant 0.027 where 0.027> 0.05 then Ho rejected Ha accepted, so can it was concluded that students' learning motivation increased after participating in group counseling services with the Cognitive Restructuring technique in class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Lampung Tengah.
