Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Guru pendidikan Agama Islam dalam pembentukan sikap toleransi antar umat beragama peserta didik di SMAN 14 bandar lampung yang peserta didiknya terdiri dari agama yang berbeda-beda, yaitu Islam, Kristen, Hindu, Katolik. Walaupun mereka berbeda-beda mereka tetap saling menghargai satu sama lain. Seperti halnya ketika jam pelajaran agama. Mereka yang non muslim walaupun tetap di dalam kelas tetapi tetap memperhatikan dan menghargai kawannya yang sedang belajar agama Islam, dan yang Islam pun tidak menggunjing atau membicarakan agama diluar islam ketika pelajaran berlangsung dan mereka pun dapat berteman dan bersahabat dengan baik dan saling tolong menolong. Toleransi antar umat beragama di SMAN 14 ini sangat baik dan patut di contoh. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dan data akan di analisis mengguanakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan, guna untuk mengolah hasil dari penelitian Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Pembentukan Sikap Toleransi Antar Umat Beragama Peserta Didik Di SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. Guru PAI di SMAN 14 sangat menekankan toleransi antar umat beragama terhadap peserta didik di dalam pembelajaran maupun diluar pembelajaran dengan selalu memberi pemahaman, membimbing, membiasakan serta mencontohkan kepada peserta didik bagaimana bertoleransi dalam beragama dengan sangat baik. Terlihat dari peserta didik yang sudah mencerminkan dan mempraktikan toleransi antar umat beragama dengan baik. seperti, tidak menggangu temannya yang sedang beribadah, senyum sapa salam antar umat beragama sesama peserta didik dan guru. faktor dukungan dari semua pihak sekolah yang mensuport baik itu dari fasilitas maupun melalui visi misi yang ada di sekolah. Tidak hanya itu guru pendidikan agama islam juga menemukan faktor penghambat yaitu kurangnya jam pembelajaran Agama dan menghadapi karkter perserta didik yang berbeda-beda. Kata Kunci : Peran Guru PAI, Toleransi ,Antar Umat Beragama iv ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in the formation of tolerance between religious communities of students at SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung whose students consist of different religions, namely Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Catholicism. Even though they are different they still respect each other. Like during religious lessons. Those who are non-Muslims, even though they are still in class, still pay attention and respect their friends who are studying Islam, and those who are Muslims do not gossip or talk about religions outside of Islam during lessons and they can make good friends and help each other. Inter-religious tolerance at SMAN 14 is very good and exemplary. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. And the data will be analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions, in order to process the results of the research on the Role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Forming Inter-Religious Tolerance of Students at SMAN 14 Bandar Lampung. PAI teachers at SMAN 14 place a strong emphasis on inter�religious tolerance towards students in learning and outside of learning by always providing understanding, guiding, familiarizing and exemplifying students how to tolerate religion very well. It can be seen from the students who have reflected and practiced inter�religious tolerance well. such as, not disturbing his friends who are worshiping, smiling, greeting, greetings between religious communities, fellow students and teachers. factors of support from all school parties who support both from the facilities and through the vision and mission that exist in the school. Not only that, Islamic religious education teachers also found inhibiting factors, namely the lack of religious learning hours and the different characteristics of students.
