Abstract

ABSTRAK Ekstrak daun bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) mengandung beberapa senyawa kimia alami seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin yang berguna sebagai zat pengendali hama tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak bandotan (Ageratum conyzoides L.) dan pada dosis berapa yang paling efektif terhadap kematian hama kutu (Ageratum conyzoides L.) daun pada tanaman cabai (Capsicum Annum L.). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu RAL (Rancang Acak Lengkap) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan terdiri dari konsentrasi 0% sebagai kontrol, konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15% dan konsentrasi 20%. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 200 hama kutu daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengunaan ekstrak daun bandotan sebagai bioinsektisida pada hama kutu daun cabai efektif terhadap mortalitas hama kutu daun. Hasil terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan P5 yaitu penggunaan ekstrak daun bandotan sebesar 20% dengan tingkat mortalitas sebesar 93%. Kata kunci: Bandotan, Cabai, Ekstrak, Kutu Daun. iv ABSTRACT Bandotan leaf extract (Ageratum conyzoides L.) contains several natural chemical compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which are useful as plant pest control agents. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of bandotan extract (Ageratum conyzoides L.) and at what dose is the most effective against the death of leaf lice (Ageratum conyzoides L.) on chili plants (Capsicum Annum L.). This research method uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research. The research design used was RAL (Completely Randomized Design) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment used consisted of 0% concentration as control, 5% concentration, 10%, 15% and 20% concentration. The samples used in this study were 200 aphids. The results showed that the use of bandotan leaf extract as a bioinsecticide on chili aphids was effective against the mortality of aphids. The best results were shown in the P5 treatment, namely the use of bandotan leaf extract of 20% with a mortality rate of 93%. Keyword: Aphid, Bandotan, Chili, Extract.
