Abstract

ABSTRAK Media massa sarana penyampaian pesan yang berhubungan langsung dengan masyarakat baik masyarakat luar negeri maupun masyarakat dalam negeri seperti film korea the penthouse. Film korea The Penthouse yang rilis tahun 2020 hasil karya Kim Soon-Ok dikenal sebagai julukan mitologi. Film korea The Penthouse membuat penasaran serta menarik perhatian publik, sebab film ini disutradarai oleh Joo Dong-Min dengan membuat banyak sorotan dari alur cerita sampai pemain cerita, karena adanya kekerasan yang berlebihan. Demikian penulis tertarik untuk meneliti dari beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian yaitu tentang representasi media tentang kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (Analisis Wacana Film Korea The Penthouse). Fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini mengarah pada representasi media tentang kekerasan dalam rumah tangga yang ada pada film. sedangkan sub-fokus dalam penelitian ini mengarah mengenai pengertian representasi kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dalam film korea the penthouse. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui representasi kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dalam film korea the penthouse. Manfaat penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memjadi sarana dan referensi agar menambahkan wawasan bagi mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam agar tertarik dalam meneliti mengenai film dan memberikan pelajaran bagaimana cara menganalisis film menggunakan analisis wacana Teun A Van Djik. Metode ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan sifat penelitian menggunakan analisis wacana yang dikembangkan oleh Teun AVan Djik dimana peneliti menganalisis representasi kekerasan rumah tangga dalam film korea the penthouse yang terdapat pada film dari segi teks. Jika dianalisis secara umum, Film ini menceritakan tentang masyarakat kelas atas yang tinggal di Penthouse yang haus kekuasaan dan permasalahan seputar Pendidikan di Korea real estat yang terdiri dari 3 season. Namun, penelitian ini berfokus pada kekerasan dalam rumah tangga dengan mengambil 8 sampel yang berkaitan dengan objek penelitian. iii Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa film the penthouse ini mengandung reperesentasi kekerasan rumah tangga dalam film korea the penthouse yang terjadi di masa lalu sehingga ingin membalas dendam dan juga adanya perselingkuhan, Maka bentuk kekerasan yang terjadi pada film korea the penthouse ini sebagai berikut: kekerasan fisik, kekerasan psikis, dan penelantaran rumah tangga yang dialami oleh istri maupun anak. Hasil penelitian ini juga semoga memberikan kontribusi pada prilaku komunikasi agar menghindari prilaku yang tidak baik seperti tindak kekerasan. The Penthouse, directed by Kim Soon-Ok and published in 2020, is recognized by the legendary moniker. Due to its severe violence and Joo Dong-attention-grabbing Min's style of highlighting everything from the plot to the characters, The Penthouse piques viewers' interest and grabs their attention. As a result, the author is curious to investigate a number of topics connected to the research object, including how domestic violence is represented in the media (Discourse Analysis of Korean Film The Penthouse). The study's primary area of inquiry is how domestic violence is portrayed in the media, particularly in movies. while the study's secondary objective helps readers comprehend how domestic violence is portrayed in the Korean movie The Penthouse. The aim of this investigation was to ascertain how domestic violence was portrayed in the Korean movie The Penthouse. The advantages of this research are anticipated to include teaching students of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting how to examine films utilizing Teun A. Van Djik's discourse analysis and adding insight for them to get interested in cinema research. This approach makes use of a qualitative descriptive study design, and the discourse analysis technique created by Teun AVan Djik is used to examine how domestic violence is represented in the Korean movie The Penthouse from a textual standpoint. If this movie were to be evaluated generally, it would tell about the power�hungry upper class residents of penthouses and the issues with schooling in the three-season Korean housing market. However, by using 8 samples relevant to the research goal, this study focuses on domestic violence. The findings of this study suggest that the penthouse Korean film depicts instances of domestic violence that happened in the past and made the characters wish to exact retribution while simultaneously engaging in extramarital relations. Physical violence, v psychological violence, and domestic abuse that women and children face are all sorts of violence that are depicted in the Korean movie "Penthouse." The findings of this study should also help people communicate better in order to stop engaging in undesirable behavior like violent acts.
