Abstract

ABSTRAK Strategi kepala madrasah merupakan program yang telah disusun secara lengkap dan terstruktur dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sehingga mampu mendayagunakan sumber-sumber pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien. Adapun tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai proses manajemen strategi yang harus dilakukan dalam strategi kepala madrasah terdiri dari: formulasi strategi, implementasi strategi, evaluasi strategi Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kepala madrasah, waka kurikulum, waka kesiswaan, dan tenaga pendidik. Objek penelitian ini di MIN 3 Kotabumi Lampung Utara. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian dan kesimpulan yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MIN 3 Kotabumi Lampung Utara dibagi dalam tiga tahapan yaitu: (1) Formulasi strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan melakukan analisis internal analisis eksternal yang meliputi peluang dan ancaman. Adapun strategi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui program�program madrasah antara lain: strategi program pembentukan tim kompetisi sains madrasah dan tim tahfidz, strategi program kurikulum, strategi program kesiswaan dan strategi program sarana prasarana. (2) Implementasi strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan meliputi: a. strategi program pembentukan tim kompetisi sains madrasah dan tim tahfidz dengan memilih pembina yang sesuai latar belakang pendidikan b. strategi program kurikulum meliputi: pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan tenaga pendidik harus hadir dikelas, dan kegiatan peningkatan kompetensi pendidik dengan mengikutkan pendidik pada kegiatan KKG, diklat, serta workshop. c. strategi program kesiswaan yang berfokus pada penerimaan peserta didik baru, pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler dalam pengembangan bakat dan minat peserta didik dan pembinaan dalam iii menumbuhkan pendidikan berkarakter dengan disiplin peserta didik juga tenaga kependidikan dalam proses pembelajaran, pembiasaan pagi serta pembiasaan shalat dhuha berjamaa’ah di hari jum’at dilanjutkan dengan ikhlas berinfaq. d. strategi program sarana prasarana dengan pengadaan dan pemanfaatan fasilitas sarana prasarana madrasah. (3) Evaluasi strategi di MIN 3 kotabumi Lampung Utara dilaksanakan dengan mengawasi secara langsung program yang disusun. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan rapat bersama yang diadakan rutin enam bulan sekali atau persemester. Kata Kunci : Strategi Kepala Madrasah, Mutu Pendidikan iv ABSTRACT The madrasa principal's strategy is a program that has been comprehensively and structured in an effort to improve the quality of education so that it is able to utilize educational resources effectively and efficiently. The research objective is to describe the strategic management process that must be carried out in the madrasa principal's strategy consisting of: strategy formulation, strategy implementation, strategy evaluation This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques interview, observation and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal of the madrasa, the vice head of curriculum, the vice head of student affairs, and the teaching staff. The object of this research is MIN 3 Kotabumi, North Lampung. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research results and conclusions obtained show that the madrasa head's strategy in improving the quality of education at MIN 3 Kotabumi North Lampung is divided into three stages, namely: 1) Formulation of the madrasa head's strategy to improve the quality of education by conducting an internal analysis of external analysis which includes opportunities and threats. The strategies for improving the quality of education through madrasa programs include: program strategy for forming madrasa science competition teams and tahfid: teams, curriculum program strategies, student program strategies and infrastructure program strategies. 2) Implementation of the madrasa principal's strategy in improving the quality of education includes: a program strategy for forming madrasah science competition teams and tahfid teams by choosing a coach according to educational background b. the curriculum program strategy includes: implementation of learning activities where educators must be present in class, and activities to increase the competence of educators by involving educators in Teacher Working Group activities, training, and workshops. c. student program strategy that focuses on accepting new students, carrying out extracurricular activities in developing v students talents and interests and coaching in cultivating character education with disciplined students as well as education staff in the learning process, morning habits and the habit of praying Dhuha in congregation on Fridays 'at continued with sincere berinfaq, d infrastructure program strategy by procuring and utilization madrasah infrastructure facilities. 3) Evaluation of the strategy at MIN 3 Kotabumi North Lampung is carried out by directly supervising the programs that have been prepared.
