Abstract

ABSTRAK Self-efficacy adalah keyakinan seorang pelajar akan kemampuan dan kesanggupannya untuk menggapai dan menyelesaikan tugas-tugas studi mereka dengan target dan hasil yang telah ditentukan. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis adalah kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyampaikan gagasan-gagasan matematika baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Representasi matematis merupakan tafsiran dari ide dan gagasan matematis yang direfleksikan dalam bentuk grafik, tulisan, tabel, dan gambar serta kata-kata untuk menemukan solusi dari permasalahan matematik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan representasi matematis melalui kemampuan komunikasi matematis baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis jalur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 170 Siswa Kelas X MAN 1 Lampung Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 120 siswa kelas X MAN Lampung Selatan, yang mana pada setiap kelas hanya diambil 24 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan rumus slovin. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket dan soal tes dengan materi trigonometri. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) terdapat hubungan langsung antara self-efficacy dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan nilai p-value 0,013, (2) terdapat hubungan langsung antara kemampuan komunikasi matematis terhadap representasi matematis dengan nilai p-value 0,000, (3) terdapat hubungan langsung antara self-efficacy terhadap representasi matematis dengan nilai p�value 0,018, (4) terdapat hubungan tak langsung antara self-efficacy dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis melalui representasi matematis dengan nilai z-sobel 2,259 dan p-value 0,023. Kata Kunci : Self-Efficacy, Komunikasi Matematis, Representasi Matematis iv ABSTRACT Self-efficacy is a student's belief in his ability and ability to achieve and complete their study tasks with predetermined targets and results. Mathematical communication ability is the ability of students to convey mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. Mathematical representation is an interpretation of mathematical ideas and ideas that are reflected in the form of graphs, writings, tables, and pictures and words to find solutions to mathematical problems. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical representation skills through mathematical communication skills either directly or indirectly. The approach used in this study is quantitative correlation with path analysis techniques. The population in this study were 170 students of class X MAN 1 South Lampung. The sample in this study was 120 students of class X MAN Lampung Selatan, where in each class only 24 students were taken. The sampling technique was determined by the slovin formula. The instruments used are in the form of questionnaires and test questions with trigonometric material. The results of data analysis in this study are (1) there is a direct relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical communication skills with a p-value of 0.013, (2) there is a direct relationship between mathematical communication skills and mathematical representations with a p-value of 0.000, ( 3) there is a direct relationship between self-efficacy on mathematical representations with a p-value of 0.018, (4) there is an indirect relationship between self-efficacy and mathematical communication skills through mathematical representations with a z-sobel value of 2.259 and a p-value of 0.023.
