Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya peserta didik yang memiliki masalah motivasi belajar akibat pikiran irasional, terdapat empat peserta didik yaitu LLY, FRL, FNA, YN yang menjadi fokus peneliti untuk di berikan layanan konselng individu dengan konseling Rational Behavior Therapy (REBT). Dengan harapan dapat mendebat keyakinan irasional menjadi rasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan alat penggumpul data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen analisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk menganalisis Proses Penggunaan Konseling Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) dengan teknik A-B-C-D-E dalam mengatasi masalah motivasi belajar, dan Untuk menganalisis perubahan yang dirasakan setelah penggunaan Konseling Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) dengan Teknik A-B-C-D-E dalam mengatasi masalah motivasi belajar di SMP Negeri 1 Pubian Lampung Tengah. Di dalam penelitian ini secara umum proses konseling dari Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) yang digunakan adalah Activating Event (A), Belief (B), Consequence (C), Disputing irrational belief (D), dan Effective (E). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling individu menggunakan konseling Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) dengan Teknik A-B-C-D-E dalam mengatasi masalah motivasi belajar di SMP Negeri 1 Pubian Lampung menunjukkan dimana konseli merasa senang dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan mereka melalui konseling Rational�Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) Counseling with the A-B-C-D-E technique in overcoming the problem of learning motivation, and to analyze the changes felt after the use of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) Counseling with the A�B-C-D-E technique in overcoming learning motivation problems at school. Public Middle School 1 Pubian, Central Lampung. In this study, in general, the counseling process from Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) used is Activating Event (A), Belief (B), Consequence (C), Disputing irrational belief (D), and Effective (E). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that individual counseling using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) counseling with the A-B-C-D-E technique in overcoming learning motivation problems at SMP Negeri 1 Pubian Lampung shows where counselees feel happy to be able to solve their problems through Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) counseling. .
