ABSTRAK TEOLOGI BENCANA DALAM PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT MUSLIM DAN KRISTEN (Studi Kasus Covid-19 di Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat) Oleh: Ita Nuraeni Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji terkait bagaimana teologi bencana dalam Agama Islam dan Kristen, bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Islam dan Kristen terkait teologi bencana Covid-19 di Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat dan bagaimana masyarakat Islam dan Kristen di Sekincau menyikapi bencana Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian field research (penelitian lapangan) dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis. Prosedur pengumpulan data untuk mendukung penelitian dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan beberapa informan dalam penelitian ini yakni melibatkan tokoh agama dan tokoh masyarakat agama Islam dan Kristen di Sekincau Kabupaten Lampung Barat. Guna menunjang penelitian supaya sesuai dengan fakta yang ada di lapangan. Dan data skunder diperoleh dari buku-buku, jurnal, skripsi serta sumber-sumber yang relevan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Masyarakat Sekincau baik Islam maupun Kristen memandang bahwa bencana Covid-19 merupakan teguran dari Tuhan. Dalam agama Islam dijelaskan bahwa terjadinya bencana Covid-19 merupakan suatu ujian, teguran Allah SWT kepada umat manusia. Sedangkan dalam agama Kristen teologi bencana adalah tanda peringatan atau hukuman Tuhan kepada manusia, tanda kekuasaan Tuhan dan juga tanda akhir zaman. Selanjutnya bencana Covid-19 menurut persepsi masyarakat Islam dan Kristen di Sekincau adalah suatu bentuk ujian dari Tuhan, dan masyarakat Islam menyikapinya dengan moderasi beragama yaitu dengan ikhtiar dengan cara mentaati peraturan dan protokol Kesehatan yang di tetapkan pemerintah dan tawakal. Begitupun Umat Kristen menyikapinya dengan ikhlas dan juga tetap mentaati peraturan dan protokol Kesehatan yang di tetapkan pemerintah. Kata Kunci: Persepsi Masyarakat, Teologi Bencana, Virus Covid-19 ABSTRACT DISASTER THEOLOGY IN PERCEPTIONS OF MUSLIM AND CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES (Case Study of Covid-19 in Sekincau, West Lampung Regency) By:Ita Nuraeni This study aims to examine how disaster theology is in Islam and Christianity, how the perceptions of Muslim and Christian communities regarding the theology of the Covid-19 disaster in Sekincau, West Lampung Regency and how Muslim and Christian communities in Sekincau respond to the Covid-19 disaster. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with the type of field research research (field research) using a sociological approach. Data collection procedures to support the research were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with several informants in this study, involving religious leaders and community leaders of Islam and Christianity in Sekincau village. To support research so that it is in accordance with the facts on the ground. And secondary data obtained from books, journals, theses and other relevant sources in this research. The results showed that the Sekincau community, both Muslim and Christian, viewed the Covid-19 disaster as a warning from God. In Islam, it is explained that the occurrence of the Covid-19 disaster is a test, a warning from Allah SWT to mankind. Meanwhile, in Christianity, disaster theology is a sign of warning or punishment from God to humans, a sign of God's power and also a sign of the end of time. Furthermore, the Covid-19 disaster according to the perception of the Muslim and Christian communities in Sekincau is a form of test from God, and the Islamic community responds to it with religious moderation, namely by endeavoring to obey the health regulations and protocols set by the government and trust. Likewise, Christians respond sincerely and also continue to obey the health regulations and protocols set by the government. Keywords: Public Perception, Disaster Theology, Covid-19 Virus.
