Abstract

ABSTRACT West Lampung Regency is one of the regencies that has potential natural tourism resources if managed properly. One of the tourist attractions that is now being discussed by the public is Muncak Temianganhill. Muncak temianghill tourism is opened and managed by the community around the tourist area to increase their income. Due to budget constraints, there are still some problems in its implementation, such as lack of financial support, lack of communication between members as a result, there are too many ideas so that tourism development cannot be implemented. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the policy of tourism development in temianganhill can increase people's income from an Islamic economic perspective. Judging from the type, this research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method. The source of research data in the form of primary is obtained directly from the results of interviews and secondary data is obtained from theory books or references on tourism development policies. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, tourism development policies in Temianganhill have been implemented well, but have not been maximized and have not been implemented effectively. This is due to several work programs that have not been achieved. This is because tourism development policies are still limited, namely: 1) Attractiveness, 2) Accessibility, 3) Amenity, 4) Supporting Facilities, 5) Institutions, and the limited budget received by the government from the government to manage local tourism that there still is. As well as the existing awareness on the part of the manager, namely giving zakat mal, this is in accordance with income in Islam, namely zakat and shadaqah. Then the income obtained which has been deducted by zakat, net income is distributed equally and equally to members, this is in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics, namely justice and freedom. Then this also provides benefits for the surrounding community because of the assistance received from tourist attractions plus many unemployed mothers and getting additional work to increase income.
