Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih memerlukan perhatian khusus. Ada beberapa permasalahan atau kendala dalam proses pembelajarannya, yaitu kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi ceita fiksi yang telah disampaikan oleh guru dan belum mampu untuk menulis sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah yang sesuai dengan EYD atau Ejaan Yang Disempurnakan. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena pendidik saat mengajar dikelas masih menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Pada pembelajaran seperti ini peserta didik menjadi kurang aktif dan cepat merasa jenuh dan bosan pada saat pembelajaran. Sehingga peserta didik menjadi pasif dan tidak kondusif. Pendidik masih kurang memilih pendekatan pembelajaran yang biasa diterapkan pada peserta didik dalam menulis. Bahkan ada salah satu peserta didik yang belum bisa menulis dengan baik. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti ialah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis and Taggart dengan menggunakan empat tahapan yaitu tahapan perencanaan, tahapan pelaksanaan, tahapan pengamatan dan tahapan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi peserta didik dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural di kelas IV SD N 2 Margoyoso. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan penerapan pendekatan struktural dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi peserta didik kelas IV SD N 2 Margoyoso. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan fakta hasil peningkatan motivasi belajar dilihat dari pre test bahwa di peroleh rata-rata keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi sebesar 50,78 menunjukkan tingkat keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi peserta didik “rendah”. Setelah dilakukan tindakan menggunakan pendektan struktural pada siklus I perolehan skor menjadi 68,32 menunjuk pada tingkat “tinggi”. Sedangkan pada siklus II memperoleh skor rata-rata keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi peserta didik menjadi 84,71 yang menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis iv cerita fiksi peserta didik mengalami peningkatan. Pelaksanaan post test dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 84,71 menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini. So that students become passive and not conducive. Educators still do not choose the learning approach that is commonly applied to students in writing. There is even one student who has not been able to write well. The research conducted by the researcher is class action research (PTK), this class action research uses the Kemmis and Taggart model using four stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, tests and documentation. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' fiction story writing skills by using a structural approach in grade IV SD N 2 Margoyoso Based on the results of the study, it was found that the application of a structural approach can improve the fiction story writing skills of grade IV students of SD N 2 Margoyoso. This can be proven by the fact that the results of increasing learning motivation can be seen from the pre-test that the average fiction story writing skills of 50.78 shows that the level of fiction story writing skills of students is "low". After action using structural measures in cycle I the score was 68.32 pointing to a "high" level. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average score of students' fiction story writing skills became 84.71 which shows that students' fiction story writing skills have improved.
