Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan masalah yaitu, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang praktis dan efesien, kurangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat membuat peserta didik menjadi aktif saat proses pembelajaran, adanya kejenuhan saat proses pembelajaran karena media yang digunakan hanya gambar- gambar didinding�dinding kelas dan buku saja, penggunaan media permainan puzzle yang belum menjadi pilihan media alternatif yang efektif untuk digunakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pengembangan media permainan puzzle berbasis metode example non example pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD/MI, untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media permainan puzzle berbasis metode example non example pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD/MI, untuk mengetahui respon guru dan peserta didik setelah mereka menggunakan media permainan puzzle berbasis metode example non example pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD/MI. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti ialah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE analisis (analysis), desain (desaign), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Validasi kelayakan dilakukan dengan satu ahli media, satu ahli materi satu ahli bahasa dan dua pendidik. Uji lapangan terdiri dari uji skala kecil dengan 30 peserta didik dan uji skala besar 60 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MISMA Landsbaw Tanggamus, dan MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. Berdasarkan tahapan-tahapan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media media permainan puzzle berbasis metode example non example pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD/MI memperoleh nilai rata-rata ahli media 86%, ahli, rata-rata ahli materi 84%, rata- rata ahli bahasa sebesar 89 % dan rata-rata penilaian pendidik 90 %. Sedangkan penilaian yang diberikan peserta didik pada tahap uji skala kecil 92% dan uji skala besar 89% hal ini menunjukkan media permainan puzzle berbasis metode example non example pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD/MI layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Puzzle, IPS iv ABSTRACT This research is based on problems, namely, the lack of practical and efficient learning media, the lack of learning media that can make students active during the learning process and boredom during the learning process because the media used are only pictures on the walls of the classroom and books, the use of puzzle game media that has not been an effective alternative media choice to use. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the process of developing puzzle game media based on the example non example method in social studies subjects for class IV SD/MI, to determine the feasibility level of puzzle game media based on the example non example method in social studies subjects for class IV SD/MI, for knowing the responses of teachers and students after they used puzzle game media based on the example non example method in social studies subjects for grade IV SD/MI. Research conducted by researchers is development research using the ADDIE model of analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). Feasibility validation was carried out with one media expert, one material expert, one linguist and two educators. The field test consisted of a small-scale test with 30 students and a large�scale test with 60 students. This research was conducted at MISMA Landsbaw Tanggamus, and MIN 7 Bandar Lampung. Based on these stages, it can be concluded that the puzzle game media media based on the example non example method in social studies subjects for grade IV SD/MI obtained an average score of 86% media expert, expert, material expert average 84%, average linguists by 89% and the average assessment of educators 90%. While the assessment given by students at the small-scale test stage is 92% and the large-scale test is 89%, this shows that the puzzle game media based on the example non-example method in social studies subjects for class IV SD/MI is feasible to use in the learning process.
