Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemajuan sektor ekonomi saat ini mengakibatkan tingginya tingkat kebutuhan masyarakat, sehingga mendorong pelaku usaha untuk semakin kreatif dalam menciptakan usaha. Salah satunya dapat dilihat dengan mulai banyaknya pedagang olahan makanan yang ada di Kec. Tanjung Karang Pusat Kota Bandar Lampung. Namun dalam menjalankan bisnisnya, mayoritas pedagang makanan belum menyadari pentingnya pemenuhan standar kehalalan produk yang dijual dan juga menerapkan perlindungan bagi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mendeskripsikan kendala parapelaku usaha mikro kecil menengah di Kec. Tanjung Karang Pusat dalam mendaftarkan usahanya agar memiliki sertifikasi halal MUI. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data primer penelitian ini mendapatkan data langsung dari lokasi penelitian yang bersumber dari pedagang wirausaha UMKM sektor kuliner yang ada di Kec. Tanjung Karang Pusat, sedangkan data sekunder yang peneliti gunakan berasal dari buku�buku teori atau referensi yang berhubungan dengan umkm,halal tourism, halal food, dan sertifikasi halal. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang dimaksudkan untuk memberikan gambaran, sifat-sifat individual, keadaan, gejala, atau kelompok tertentu atau untuk menentukan penyebaran suatu gejala dalam masyarakat. Teknik analisis penelitian kulitatif dengan menggunakan cara berfikir induktif ini dilakukan dengan cara menguraikan, merinci kedalam kalimat�kalimat sehingga dapat menarik kesimpulan sebagai jawaban dari permasalahan kendala parapelaku usaha mikro kecil menengah dalam mendaftarkan usahanya agar memiliki sertifikasi halal MUI. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kendala-kendala yang dihadapi oleh usaha mikro, dan hasil menujukkan bahwa lebih banyak usaha mikro belum mengetahui bagaimana alur pendaftaran sertifikasi halal. Selain itu, kendala lainnya adalah aspek biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh para pelaku UMKM dalam proses pengajuan sertifikasi halal juga menjadi hambatan tersendiri bagi mereka. This study aims to describe the constraints of micro, small and medium enterprises in the district. Tanjung Karang Pusat in registering its business so that it has MUI halal certification. This research uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The primary data of this research is to obtain direct data from the research location which is sourced from UMKM entrepreneurs in the culinary sector in the district. Tanjung Karang Pusat, while the secondary data that the researchers used came from theoretical or reference books related to UMKM, halal tourism, halal food, and halal certification. This research is descriptive in nature which is intended to provide an overview, individual characteristics, conditions, symptoms, or certain groups or to determine the spread of a symptom in society. This qualitative research analysis technique using inductive thinking is carried out by outlining, detailing into sentences so that it can draw conclusions as an answer to the problems faced by micro, small and medium enterprises in registering their businesses to have MUI halal certification. The results of the study show that the constraints faced by micro-enterprises, and the results show that more micro-enterprises do not yet know how to register for halal certification. In addition, another obstacle is the aspect of costs that must be incurred by MSME actors in the process of applying for halal certification which is also a separate obstacle for them.
