Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengaruh model Science Technology Society (STS) berbantuan Video animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMAN 17 Bandar Lampung mata pelajaran Biologi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimental Design, populasi adalah seluruh kelas X SMAN 17 Bandar Lampung dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dan sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil data penelitian kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari data pretest dan posttest yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney untuk melihat pengaruh model terhadap variabel terikat yang dioperasikan dengan SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh model STS berbantuan Video Animasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dilihat dari Sig (2-tailed) 0,002 < α 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe how the influence of the Science Technology Society (STS) Model with the aid of animated video on the creative thinking ability of the students of SMAN 17 Bandar Lampung in the subject of Biology. This research method uses Quasi Experimental Design, the population is all class X SMAN 17 Bandar Lampung with cluster random sampling technique, and the research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental and control classes. The results of the reasearcg data on creative thinking abilities were obtained from pretest and posttest data which were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test to see the effect of the model on the dependent variabel operated with SPSS version 20. The results of the STS model assisted by Video Animation has an effect on creative thinking skills form Sig. (2-tailed) 0,002 < α 0,05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
