Abstract

ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL HANDS ON ACTIVITY TERHADAP HABITS OF MINDS MATERI SISTEM EKSKRESI PESERTA DIDIK SMPN 3 PESAWARAN Oleh Anita Iska Maulida Penelitian ini bertujuan supaya melihat apakah ada pengaruh model Hands On Activity terhadap Habits of Minds materi sistem Ekskresi peserta didik SMP Negeri 3 pesawaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yakni quasi experiment dengan desain yang digunakan yaitu Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 111 peserta didik dan Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII1 dan kelas VIII2 di SMP Negeri 3 pesawaran yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik pengumpulan informasi/keterangan pada eksperimen yang di lakukan memakai tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata N-Gain kemampuan Habits of Mind pada kelas eksperimen 0,78 kategori tinggi sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 0,33 dengan kategori sedang. Pada Uji Independent Sample t Test di ketahui nilai signifikan 2-Tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka sebagaimana dsar pengambilan keputusan dalam uji Independent Sample t Test dapat di simpulkan bahwa H0 di tolak dan H1 di terima. Dengan demikia dapat di simpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan (nyata) antara rata-rata Habits of Mind pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol di SMP Negeri 3 pesawaran. Kata kunci : Model Hands On Activity , Habits of Mind, Sistem Ekskresi. iii iii ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF HANDS ON ACTIVITY MODEL ON HABITS OF MINDS MATERIAL EXCRETION SYSTEM OF STUDENTS OF SMPN 3 PESAWARAN ByAnita Iska Maulida This study aims to see whether there is an influence of hands on activity model on the Habits of Minds material for the excretory system of senior high school of three Pesawaran students. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with the design used is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study was 111 students and the subjects of this study were students of class VIII1 and class VIII2 at SMP Negeri 3 Pesawaran,totaling 30 students collecting information/information on experiments carried out using tests and documentation. The results showed that the average N-Gain ability of the Habits of Mind in the experimental class was 0.78 in the high category while the control class was 0.33 in the medium category. In the Independent Sample t Test, it is known that the 2-Tailed significant value is 0.000 < 0.05, so as the basis for decision making in the Independent Sample t Test, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant (significant) difference between the average Habits of Mind in the experimental class and the control class at senior high school of three Pesawaran.
