ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COURSE REVIEW HORAY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN METAKOGNITIF DAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI SMPN 1 SEMAKA Oleh Febrilia Tri Andriyani Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap kemampuan metakognitif dan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMPN 1 Semaka. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian nya menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Adapun populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Semaka. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil secara acak dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data didapat dari hasil tes soal uraian, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Uji MANOVA. Hasil pengujian hipotesis memperoleh nilai sig. 0,013 > 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tedapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Course Review Horay terhadap kemampuan metakognitif dan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMPN 1 SEMAKA Kata Kunci : Course Review Horay, Kemampuan Metakognitif, Minat Belajar iv ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF THE COURSE REVIEW HORAY LEARNING MODEL ON METACOGNITIVE ABILITY AND LEARNING INTEREST OF STUDENTS IN BIOLOGY LESSONS AT SMPN 1 SEMAKA By Febrilia Tri Andriyani This study aims to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay learning model on metacognitive abilities and student interest in biology subjects at SMPN 1 Semaka. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of research using quasi�experimental. The population used in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Semaka. The sample in this study was taken randomly with cluster random sampling technique. Data collection was obtained from the test results of descriptions, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the MANOVA test. The results of hypothesis testing obtain a value of sig. 0.013 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Course Review Horay learning model on metacognitive abilities and student learning interests in biology subjects at SMPN 1 SEMAKA Keywords: Horay Course Review, Metacognitive Ability, Learning Interest
