Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru memiliki posisi strategi untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang dipengaruhi oleh kinerja guru. Agar pelaksanaan pendidikan tercapai guru dituntut untuk memiliki kinerja yang baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan supervisi akademik, untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sukarame Bandar Lampung dibutuhkan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah untuk membantu, membina dan mengarahkan guru dalam mengembangkan dan mengelola proses pembelajaran agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini untu mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi supervisi akademik kepala madrasah di MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Seumber data diperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengkodean terbuka (open coding), pengkodean terporos (axial coding), dan pengkodean terpilih (selective coding). Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa 1) perencanaan supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus pertama pada semester I dan siklus kedua pada semester II, perencanaan dilakukan melalui rapat guru, sosialisasi untuk membuat instrumen supervisi akademik. 2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik menggunakan teknik individual dan teknik kelompok, hasil yang diperoleh dari supervisi akademik yaitu peningkatan kinerja guru, keaktifan guru, sikap dan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah. 3) evaluasi supervisi akademik kepala madrasah guru merasa terbantu dengan adanya bimbingan dari kepala madrasah, guru senior dan narasumber. Tindak lanjut dari supervisi akademik guru meminta bantuan untuk perbaikan kepada kepala madrasah, guru senior dan narasumber. In order for the implementation of education to be achieved, teachers are required to have good performance. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out academic supervision, to improve teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sukarame Bandar Lampung, academic supervision of the madrasa head is needed to assist, foster and direct teachers in developing and managing the learning process in order to improve teacher performance. This study is to determine the planning, implementation and evaluation of the academic supervision of the madrasah principal at MTs Muhammadiyah Sukarame Bandar Lampung. The research method used a qualitative. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation, while the data analysis used were open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The results showed that 1) planning for the academic supervision of the madrasah principal was carried out in two cycles, namely the first cycle in the first semester and the second cycle in the second semester, planning was carried out through teacher meetings, socialization to make academic supervision instruments. 2) the implementation of academic supervision using individual techniques and group techniques, the results obtained from academic supervision are an increase in teacher performance, teacher activity, attitudes and problemsolving abilities. 3) the evaluation of the academic supervision of the madrasah principal, the teacher felt helped by the guidance from the madrasah principal, senior teachers and resource persons. The follow-up to the teacher's academic supervision asked for help for improvements to the madrasa principal, senior teachers and resource persons.
