Abstract
ABSTRAK Dalam penelitian ini terdapat suatu proses kegiatan untuk menstimulus kognitif anak dengan kegiatan bermain, upaya guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif melalui Papan geometri sudah di lakukan tetapi masih belum mampu mengembangkan kemamapuan kognitif anak dengan baik. Terlihat dari masih ada anak yang belum mampu menyebutkan bentuk-bentuk geometri, masih ada anak yang belum mampu mengelompokan benda sesuai dengan jenisnya, masih ada anak yang belum mampu meletakan geometri sesuai dengan papan geometri dan masih ada anak yang yang belum memiliki tanggunng jawab terhadap tugas yang di berikan,hal tersebut di sebabkan karena anak kurang memperhatikan dan memahami informasi yang di sampaikan oleh guru, sehingga indikator pencapaian perkembangan kognitif yang di harapkan masih belum berkembang. berdasarkan permasalah tersebut maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimankah bentuk kegiatan permainan papan geometri dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok A di TK Darul Hikmah Kota Bumi Lampung Utara. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan menggunkan metode penelitian deskriftif kualitatif yang melibatkan 15 orang anak,5 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Data di kumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data di analisi secara kualitatif dengan menggunkan teknik pengumpulan data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan permainan papn geometri dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Darul Hikmah Kota Bumi Lampung Utar telah dilaksanakan secara optimal,sehingga anak sudah Mampu menyebutkan bentuk geometri, Mampu mengelompokan benda sesuai dengan jenisnya, Mampu meletakan bentuk geometri sesuai dengan papan geometri, Memiliki tanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang di berikan, Dari observasi tersebut terdapat 2 anak yang mulai berkembang 6 anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan 7 anak berkembang sangat baik. Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan kognitif anak melalui permainan papan gometri yaitu dngan langkah-langkah, mengenalkan bentuk geometri,mencocokan geometri dengan benda yang ada di sekitar,menghitung jumlah geometri, bermain geometri. It can be seen from the fact that there are still children who have not been able to name geometric shapes, there are still children who have not been able to group objects according to their type, there are still children who have not been able to put geometry according to the geometry board and there are still children who do not have the responsibility for the task. given, this is caused because children pay less attention to and understand the information conveyed by the teacher, so that the expected indicators of cognitive development achievement are still not developed. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to find out how the form of geometric board game activities in developing the cognitive abilities of group A children in Darul Hikmah Kindergarten, Bumi City, North Lampung. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods involving 15 children, 5 boys and 10 girls. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data were analyzed qualitatively by using data collection techniques, displaying data and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the use of geometric board games in developing the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years at Darul Hikmah Kindergarten, Bumi City, Lampung Utar has been carried out optimally, so that children are able to mention geometric shapes, able to group objects according to their type, able to put geometric shapes according to the geometry board, Have responsibility for the tasks given, From these observations there are 2 children who are starting to develop, 6 children are developing as expected and 7 children are developing very well. The teacher's efforts in developing children's cognitive through geometric board games are with steps, introducing geometric shapes, matching geometry with objects around, counting the number of geometries, playing geometry Keywords: Cognitive Development, Geometry Board Game
