Abstract

ABSTRAK Mualaf adalah orang yang dibujuk dan dijinakkan hatinya agar cenderung kepada Islam. Mereka adalah orang-orang yang baru mengetahui dan belum memahami tentang Islam, oleh karena itu sebagai seorang mualaf sangat penting untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari serta memahami agama baru yang dianutnya. Mualaf Center Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus merupakan salah satu lembaga non formal yang memiliki program kegiatan pendampingan dan bimbingan agama Islam bagi para mualaf. Maka Mualaf Center Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus harus memiliki seoarang Pembina maupun pembimbing yang melayani mualaf serta bisa memikirkan bagaimana membuat atau merencanakan program bimbingan yang sistematis sehingga kualitas keberagamaan para mualaf tersebut meningkat. Bimbingan agama Islam adalah proses pemberian bantuan terhadap individu agar mampu hidup dengan ketentuan dan petunjuk Allah SWT, sehingga dapat mencapai kebahagiaan hidup di dunia dan di akhirat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan bimbingan agama Islam yang dilakukan Mualaf Center Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus dalam meningkatkan kualitas keberagamaan mualaf. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian lapangan (field research) merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Sumber data primer didapat langsung melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan 7 orang yang terdiri dari 4 orang pengurus Mualaf Center dan 3 mualaf. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari pengurus Mualaf Center, website Mualaf Center, buku dan jurnal yang mendukung penelitian ini. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan metode dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan agama Islam pada mualaf center telah mampu meningkatkan kualitas keberagamaan mualaf. hal itu dikarenakan mualaf center telah memenuhi 5 langkah bimbingan agama Islam yakni: Identifikasi kasus, pembimbing mengenal dan mencatat kasus beserta gejala�gejala yang nampak. Diagnosa, langkah ini untuk menetapkan masalah yang dihadapi kasus beserta latar belakangnya. Prognosa langkah ini menetapkan jenis bantuan atau terapi apa yang akan dilaksanakan untuk membimbing kasus. Terapi, langkah ini adalah pelaksanaan bantuan atau bimbingan setelah melakukan langkah prognosa. Evaluasi adalah menilai atau mengetahui sejauh manakah langkah terapi yang telah dilakukan dan telah mencapai hasilnya. Kata kunci: Bimbingan Agama Islam, Kualitas Keberagamaan, Mualaf. iii ABSTRACT A convert is a person who is persuaded and tamed his heart to tend to Islam. They are people who just know and do not understand about Islam, therefore as a convert it is very important to know and learn and understand the new religion that he adheres to. Mualaf Center Gisting District, Tanggamus Regency is one of the non-formal institutions that has a program of Islamic religious assistance and guidance for converts. So the Convert Center of Gisting District, Tanggamus Regency must have a coach or mentor who serves converts and can think about how to make or plan a systematic guidance program so that the religious quality of the converts increases. Islamic religious guidance is the process of providing assistance to individuals so that they are able to live according to the provisions and instructions of Allah SWT, so that they can achieve happiness in life in this world and in the hereafter. This study aims to find out how the process of implementing Islamic religious guidance carried out by the Mualaf Center, Gisting District, Tanggamus Regency in improving the religious quality of converts. This research is a field research which is a qualitative research. The data sources of this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were obtained directly through observation and interviews with 7 people consisting of 4 administrators of the converts center and 3 converts. Secondary data sources were obtained from the Mualaf Center administrators, the website of the Mualaf Center, books and journals that support this research. Methods of data collection were conducted using interviews, observation, and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious guidance at the center converts there are 5 steps of Islamic religious guidance in improving the religious quality of converts, namely: Identification of cases, supervisors recognize and record cases and the symptoms that appear. Diagnosis, this step is to determine the problem faced by the case and its background. The prognosis of this step determines what type of assistance or therapy will be carried out to guide the case. Therapy, this step is the implementation of assistance or guidance after carrying out the prognostic step. Evaluation is assessing or knowing the extent to which therapeutic steps have been taken and have achieved results. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Islamic religious guidance given to converts to the center of gisting sub-district, Tanggamus district has been able to improve the quality of converts to religion.
