Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to find out whether or not was significant influence of using Edmodo towards student’s writing ability in narative text at tenth grade of MAN 1 Tulang Bawang Barat in the academic year 2020/2021. In learning English at senior high school, especially in writing students still had difficulty in writing. The researchers used Edmodo in this research as an alternative media to solve problems. Edmodo is a media can encourage students to take the initiative for their learning by posting notes, writing comments and much more. The research methodology applied quasi experimental design.In this research, the population was the tenth grade of MAN 1 Tulang Bawang Barat. The sample of the research was two class consisted of 22 students of X IPS 3 as experimental class and 22 students of X IPS 1 as control class.Pre-test was given for both class before the treatment. Then,after the treatment conducted, the post test was given.In this research used SPPS was used for statisitical computation. From the data analysis computed by using SPSS, it was conculated that the result of 2-tailed) was 0.002 means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It was states that there is a significant influence of using Edmodo toward Students` Writing Abilit in Narrative Text at the Tenth grade of MAN 1 Tulang Bawang Barat in the academic year 2020/2021.
