Abstract

ABSTRAK This research is motivated by the teacher's lack of understanding of the STAD Type Cooperative learning given, causing student effectiveness to be less good or classified as low. The research problem formulation is how the effectiveness of learning pie using cooperative method type stad. This study aims to determine how the process of implementing the effectiveness of PAI learning using the STAD type cooperative method for class VIII students at YBL Natar Junior High School, South Lampung. According to Yusuf Hadi Miarso (1993) views that effective learning is learning that can produce useful and student-focused learning (student contested) through the use of appropriate procedures. This definition implies that effective learning has two important things, namely the occurrence of learning in students and what teachers do to teach their students. This research is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative research is a step of research that creates descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words from the people or circumstances seen. The data source is obtained from the teacher. The data collection techniques in this research use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research on the learning process which was observed directly by the author at SMP YBL Natar South Lampung, there are several things that become aspects of assessment in the process of learning activities, namely aspects of teacher assessment and aspects of student assessment. As for the aspects of the assessment of teachers, namely regarding: opening lessons skills, quality of material mastery, quality of material explanations, use of variations and learning techniques, quality of stimulus variations, questioning skills, use of media/learning aids, closing skills and learning evaluations. In addition, the author also examines aspects of assessment regarding effective learning communication and a pleasant learning environment. While the aspects of the assessment regarding student behavior when learning takes place are such as student enthusiasm, student activity, student innovation, and student creativity. Cooperative Type iii Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD yang diberikan sehingga menyebabkan efektivitas siswa menjadi kurang baik atau tergolong rendah. Rumusan masalah peneliti ini adalah bagaimana efektivitas pembelajaran pai dengan menggunakan metode kooperatif tipe stad. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan efektivitas pembelajaran PAI dengan menggunakan metode kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas VIII di SMP YBL Natar Lampung Selatan. Menurut Yusuf Hadi Miarso (1993) memandang bahwa pembelajaran yang efektif adalah pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan belajar yang bermanfaat dan terfokus pada siswa (student contered) melalui penggunaan prosedur yang tepat. Definisi ini mengandung arti bahwa pembelajaran yang efektif terdapat dua hal penting, yaitu terjadinya belajar pada siswa dan apa yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk membelajarkan siswanya. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan langkah dari penelitian yang menciptakan data deskriptif berbentuk kata-kata tertulis dan lisan dari orang-orang atau keadaan yang dilihat. Suber data diperoleh dari guru. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penilitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengenai proses pembelajaran yang diamati secara langsung oleh penulis di SMP YBL Natar Lampung Selatan, terdapat beberapa hal yang menjadi aspek penilaian dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu aspek penilaian terhadap guru dan aspek penilaian terhadap siswa. Adapaun aspek-aspek penilaian terhadap guru yaitu mengenai: keterampilan membuka pelajaran, kualitas penguasaan materi, kualitas penjelasan materi, penggunaan variasi dan teknik pembelajaran, kualitas variasi stimulus, keterampilan bertanya, penggunaan media/alat bantu pembelajaran, keterampilan menutup pelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Di samping itu penulis juga meneliti aspek penilaian mengenai komunikasi pembelajarn efektif dan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Sedangkan aspek-aspek penilaian mengenai tingkah laku siswa saat pembelajarn berlangsung yaitu seperti antusias siswa, keaktifan siswa, inovasi siswa, dan kreatifitas siswa.
