Abstract

ABSTRAK Pasar modal merupakan salah satu alternatif investasi bagi para investor. Keuntungan yang dapat dimiliki dalam investasi saham yaitu kenaikan harga saham (capital gain) dan dividen. Investor dapat memaksimalkan keuntungan dengan menganalisis waktu yang tepat untuk menahan atau melepas asset yang dimiliki. Penentuan masa kepemilikan atau holding period merupakan pertimbangan penting bagi investor dalam menentukan keputusan strategi investasi untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Setiap investor memiliki analisis investasi masing-masing dalam menentukan jangka waktu kepemilikan saham atau holding period. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel bid-ask spread, market value, dan dividend payout ratio terhadap holding period. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang tercatat dalam Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) periode 2017-2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah perusahaan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 15 perusahaan. Data yang diolah adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh peneliti melalui laporan harian dan tahunan dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia dan situs web resmi perusahaan terkait. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel bid-ask spread, market value, dan dividend payout ratio berpengaruh signifikan terhadap holding period. Secara parsial variabel market value dan dividend payout ratio berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap holding period¸ sedangkan variabel bid-ask spread tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap holding period. The advantages that can be had in stock investments are the increase in the share price (capital gain) and dividends. Investors can maximize profits by analyzing the right time to hold or release their assets. Determining the period of ownership or holding period is an important consideration for investors in determining investment strategy decisions to achieve certain objectives. Each investor has their own investment analysis in determining the period of share ownership or holding period. This study aims to know the influence of variable bid-ask spread, market value, and dividend payout ratio on holding period. This research uses a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population of this study is companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the period 2017-2019. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique. The number of companies sampled in this study is 15 companies. The processed data is secondary data obtained by researchers through daily and annual reports from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the official website of the relevant companies. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 23 program. The results of this study show that simultaneously variable bid-ask spreads, market value, and dividend payout ratio have a significant effect on the holding period. Partially the v -ask spread has no significant effect on the holding period. Keyword : bid-ask spread, market value, dividend payout ratio holding period
