ABSTRACT The problems of education at this time are very diverse, ethics is one of them. Ethics is a problem that cannot be ignored, especially in the world of Islamic boarding schools, because ethics is a characteristic that cannot be separated from a student (santri). Many factors cause a lack of ethical values in students (santri) such as: lack of education and direction from teachers, lack of sensitivity to the environment, and the influence of social media, causing problems such as decreasing ethical values, speaking rudely, being selfish, not having respect for elders especially for a teacher. Seeing these conditions, it needs to be straightened out to grow the character and ethics of students in creating a young generation that is smart and intellectual and can develop in technological progress. The purpose of this study is to find out how the ethical values of santri are actualized at the al-Hikmah Islamic boarding school, Kedaton, Bandar Lampung and how the ethics of students are in the perspective of Islamic education philosophy. This research is a type of field research and uses assessment data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Primary data were obtained directly from respondents regarding the life and ethics of students, while secondary data in the form of theories and norms were obtained from the literature and documentation. From the analysis that has been carried out, conclusions are then drawn from concrete facts and events in particular, then general conclusions are drawn. The results showed that the actualization of the ethical values of students at the al-Hikmah Islamic boarding school, Kedaton, Bandar Lampung, can be seen in the attitudes and daily behavior of students in socializing in the Islamic boarding school environment, and manifested in various activities of the santri, namely: pilgrimage to the grave of the founder of the Islamic boarding school al-Islam. Wisdom as a form of ta'dzim to a kyai and teacher, istighosah and rotib reading as a means of praying for safety and praying for the experts of science. In the perspective of Islamic education philosophy, santri ethics are attitudes, behaviors or rules related to etiquette, manners and physical and spiritual existence that must be possessed by students or students. According to al�Ghazali, as a student (santri) should reduce worldly busyness, must move from his place of residence to focus more on learning and studying. pay attention to the sanctity of the soul from despicable attitudes and morals, not to have pride and arrogance, keep away from unimportant debates, and pay attention to the benefits of knowledge. The main responsibility for students (santri) is to maintain all the potential that God has given to them so that they can be empowered properly.
