Abstract

Kata Kunci : Model Rotating Trio Exchange, Kemampuan Metakognitif, Self efficacy ABSTRACT The Effect of Rotating Trio Exchange Learning Model on Metacognitive Ability and Self Efficacy Class XI in Biology Subject By : Lia Oktaviana The metacognitive ability and self-efficacy possessed by students at SMA N 2 Gunung Labuhan are quite low. A new innovation in biology learning is needed to develop these abilities. Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) can be used to improve metacognitive abilities and self-efficacy. This learning model requires students to always be active in following all stages of learning. This research uses Quasi Experiment method. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMAN 2 Gunung Labuhan for the academic year 2021/2022, the sample was randomly selected through random classes with 62 students taking. Class XI IPA 1 was selected as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 was selected as the control class. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the data analysis shows that the data is normally distributed and homogeneous. Hypothesis testing uses the Manova test which produces data that the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, then H_O is rejected and H_1 is accepted. This shows that the Rotating Trio Exchange Learning Model has an effect on the Metacognitive Ability and Self Efficacy of Students. From the results of the data in this study, we can conclude that the hypothesis is accepted, and in the Rotating Trio Exchange and Self Efficacy students have significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. Keywords : Rotating Trio Exchange Model, Metacognitive Ability, Self efficacy
