Abstract

Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS), Kemampuan Representasi Matematis, Mathematical Habits of Mind iii ABSTRACT Mathematical Representation Ability is the ability of students to present mathematical problems with notations, symbols, tables, diagrams, or graphs and words. Mathematical Habits of Mind is a habit of thinking that must be possessed by students in developing thinking skills. Based on the results of the pre-study, it shows that the mathematical representation ability and Mathematical Habits of Mind of the students of SMPN 1 Jati Agung are still relatively low. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the lack of variety of learning models applied. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) learning model on the mathematical representation ability in terms of the Mathematical Habits of Mind level of students. This research uses a Quasy Experimental Design research type. The population in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 1 Jati Agung, and the samples in this study were students of class VIII E and VIII F. The sampling technique used in this study was Cluster Random Sampling. The instrument used to collect data is a test of mathematical representation ability in the form of description questions and a Mathematical Habits of Mind questionnaire and the material used is Relations and Functions. The data analysis technique used is a two-way ANOVA of unequal cells with a significant level of 0.05 and the conclusions are (1) There is an effect of the Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) learning model on the ability of mathematical representation, (2) There is no effect of Mathematical Habits of Mind with high, medium, and low criteria for mathematical representation abilities, (3) There is no interaction between the treatment of the Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS) learning model with Mathematical Habits of Mind on mathematical representation abilities. Keywords: Learning Model Search, Solve, Create, Share (SSCS), Mathematical Representation Ability, Mathematical Habits of Mind
