Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis dan Minat Belajar Peserta Didik”. Penelitian ini bermula karena peserta didik yang kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan rendahnya minat belajar matematika. Skripsi ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan minat belajar peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Tunas Darma Tanjung Bintang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket minat belajar. Uji hipotesis menggunakanuji MANOVA. Hasil dari uji hipotesis yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan minat belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Tunas Darma Tanjung Bintang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan diperoleh nilai . Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. The research started because students were passive in the learning process, low mathematical communication skills and low interest in learning mathematic. The Research aims to determine whether there is an effect of the guided discovery learning models on mathematical communcation skills and interest to learn mathematic of students. The population in this research is all students of class VII even semester SMP Tunas Darma Tanjung Bintang. Sampling technique in this research is Cluster Random Sampling. The Sample ini this study used 2 classes, VIII A as the control class and VIII B as the experiment class. The collection data used test to mathematics communication skills and questionnaire to learning interest mathematics students. To test the hypotesis using the MANOVA test. The results of the hypotesis test that have been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the guided discovery learning models on mathematical communication skills and learning interests to learn mathematic of students class VIII SMP Tunas Darma Tanjung Bintang. This can be seen from the calculation that have been carried out the value pf . So H0 rejected and H1 accepted.
