Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemapuan representasi matemtis peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Way Bungur masih rendah, hal ini menunjukan perlu adanya kebaruan cara penyampaina materi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui secara efektif tentang model pembelajaran REMAP-TPS dapat mempengaruhi kemapuan representasi matematis peserta didik dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, ada atau tidak adanya pernedaan keaktifan peserta didik tinggi, sedang dan rendah terhadap keapuan representasi matematis, dan ada tidaknya interaksi anatara model pembelajaran REMAP-TPS dan kekatifan belajar peserta didik terhadap kemapuan representasi matematis peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Way Bungur, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini dalah peseta didik kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis varians dua jalur (Two Way Analysis of Variance) dengan taraf signifikasi . Uji prasyarat yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh model pemblejaran REMAP-TPS terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik, (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan representais matematis peserta didik yang memiliki keaktifan belajar tinggi, sedang dan rendah, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi anatara model pembelajaran REMAP-TPS dan keaktifan belajar terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik. Kata kunci: Representasi Matematis; Keaktifan Belajar; Model Pembelajaran REMAP-TPS ABSTRACT The mathematical representation ability of class VIII SMPN 1 Way Bungur students is still low, this shows the need for a novel way of delivering material in the learning process. This study was conducted to find out effectively about the REMAP-TPS learning model that can affect the ability of students' mathematical representation compared to conventional learning models, whether or not there is a difference in the activeness of high, medium and low students on the ability of mathematical representations, and whether there is interaction between the models. REMAP-TPS learning and active learning of students on the ability of mathematical representation of students. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Way Bungur, and the samples in this study were students of class VIII C as the control class and VIII D as the experimental class. The sampling technique in this study is the cluster random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing uses two-way analysis of variance (Two Way Analysis of Variance) with a significance level of 0.05. Prerequisite tests carried out are normality test and homogeneity test. So that it can be concluded that (1) there is an effect of the REMAP-TPS learning model on students' mathematical representation abilities, (2) there are differences in the mathematical representation abilities of students who have high, medium and low learning activities, (3) there is no interaction between learning models REMAP-TPS and active learning on students' mathematical representation abilities.
