Abstract

ABSTRAK IDENTIFIKASI DAN KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS BURUNG DI PULAU CONDONG LAMPUNG SELATAN Oleh: Widya Zalita Putri NPM: 1711060124 Pulau condong Lampung selatan merupakan pulau yang menyimpan banyak pesona pantai yang masih sangat asri dan keanekaragaman hayati yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh manusia. Selain itu pulau condong memiliki spot yang menarik untuk di foto, misal goa kecil yang eksotis serta pohon-pohon yang menjadi habitat burung- burung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indeks keanekaragaman jenis burung serta status mengetahui jenis burung yang berstatus dilindungi di pulau condong lampung selatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 2 titik hitung dengan 3 kali pengulangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah point count (titik hitung). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pagi hari pukul 07.00-09.00 dan sore pukul 15.00- 17.00 WIB. Data yang didapatkan di analisis secara deskriftif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan indeks keanekaragaman (H’) dengan rata-rata 1, 649 yang dikategorikan sedang. Lestarinya beberapa jenis tumbuhan biji dan jenis pakan lainnya menjadi daya tarik bagi beberapa jenis burung untuk melakukan aktivitas. Burung yang terindektifikasi sebanyak 9 jenis dari 7 famili dengan status konservasi menurut IUCN memiliki status (LC) Least Concern atau memiliki resiko rendah. In addition, the island tends to have interesting spots to be photographed, for example, small exotic caves and trees that are habitat for birds. This study aims to determine the index of bird species diversity and the status of knowing bird species that are protected on the island of Condong, South Lampung. This research was conducted at 2 count points with 3 repetitions. The method used is point count. This research was conducted in the morning at 07.00-09.00 and in the afternoon at 15.00-17.00 WIB. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of this study show a diversity index (H') with an average of 1,649 which is categorized as moderate. The sustainability of several types of seed plants and other types of feed is an attraction for several types of birds to carry out activities. Birds identified as 9 species from 7 families with conservation status according to the IUCN have Least Concern (LC) status or have low risk.
