Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin suatu lembaga sekolah memiliki peran penting terhadap kinerja para guru khususnya dalam penelitian ini adalah guru pendidikan agama islam. Yaitu harus mampu menjalin hubungan komunikasi yang baik serta memberikan motivasi sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, kepala sekolah juga harus dapat mengelola sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki dengan efektif dan efesien agar produktivitas kerja meningkat sehingga dalam perwujudan visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Fokus penelitian skripsi ini adalah bagaimana perencanaan, pengelolaan,dan pelaksanaan manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Skripsi ini bertujuan (1) untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung (2) untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengelolaan manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung (3) untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptifkualitatif, dengan mengambil latar manajemen komunikasi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Sumber data yang di ambil dari kepala sekolah, serta beberapa guru pai di SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Dengan alat penyguji data meliputi triangulasi, credibility (derajat kepercayaan), transferability (keteralihan), dependability (kebergantungan), confirmability (kepastian). Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan komunikasi kepala SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung telah berjalan dengan baik. Dengan kesatuan pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh setiap stakeholder yang ada dapat memeberikan kelancaran dalam hubungan komunikasi, serta dengan hubungan komunikasi yang baik tersebut kepala sekolah dapat memberikan motivasinya kepada guru untuk memberikan dorongan kepada mereka agar tetap bersemangat dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya. (2) pengelolaan proses komunikasi kepala sekolah dalam meminimalisir terjadinya kesalah pahaman komunikasi telah cukup baik dilakukan dengan stategi yang dimiliki kepala sekolah dalam penyampaian informasi tersebut, serta pendelegasian dalam penyampaian informasi yang dibantu oleh beberapa pihak sesuai dengan isi informasi yang akan disampaikan seperti bagian Kepala Tata Usaha serta Wakil Kepala Sekolah. (3) pelaksanaan proses komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah diawali dengan perencanaan yang dibuat secara matang, serta pemilihan strategi dan media yang akan digunakan dalam penyampaian informasi. Penerapan gaya komunikasi yang efektif seperti mengadakan rapat bulanan, mingguadan komunikasi personal dengan guru berjalan dengan baik serta sifat teladan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah menjadi contoh yang baik serta menjadi motivasi tersendiri bagi guru dan siswa-siswi SMA UNILA Bandar Lampung. Selain penerapan punishment dan reward yang diberikan untuk guru, sebagai upaya lain yang dilakukan kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan motivasi kinerja guru pai yakni dengan mengadakan workshop, sosialisasi, maupun seminar untuk guru sehingga dapat menambah kemampuan dan keterampilan mereka. The principal as the leader of a school institution has an important role in the performance of the teachers, especially in this study the teachers of Islamic religious education. That is, they must be able to establish good communication relationships and provide motivation as an effort to improve teacher performance, school principals must also be able to manage their human resources effectively and efficiently so that work productivity increases so that the realization of the vision, mission and goals of the institution can be carried out properly. . The focus of this thesis research is how to plan, manage, and implement the principal's communication management to increase the motivation of the teacher's performance at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. This thesis aims (1) to describe the principal's communication management planning to improve the performance motivation of the PAI teacher at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung (2) to describe the process of managing the principal's communication management to increase the motivation for the performance of the PAI teacher at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung (3) to describe the process of implementing the principal's communication management to improve the performance motivation of the PAI teacher at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, taking the background of principal communication management to increase the motivation of the teacher's performance at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. The data sources were taken from the principal, as well as several pie teachers at SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung. Data was collected by conducting interviews, observations and documentation studies. With data testing tools include triangulation, credibility (degree of trust), transferability (transferability), dependability (dependence), confirmability (certainty). Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and verification conclusion drawing. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the communication planning of the head of SMA YP UNILA Bandar Lampung has been going well. With the unity of understanding possessed by each of the existing stakeholders, it can provide fluency in communication relationships, and with good communication relationships the principal can motivate teachers to encourage them to remain enthusiastic in carrying out their duties. (2) the management of the principal's communication process in minimizing the occurrence of communication misunderstandings has been quite well carried out with the principal's strategy in delivering the information, as well as delegation in the delivery of information assisted by several parties in accordance with the content of the information to be conveyed such as the Head of Administration. Business and Deputy Principal. (3) the implementation of the communication process carried out by the principal begins with careful planning, as well as the selection of strategies and media that will be used in the delivery of information. The application of effective communication styles such as holding monthly meetings, weekly and personal communication with teachers is going well and the exemplary nature of the principal is a good example and is a separate motivation for teachers and students of SMA UNILA Bandar Lampung. In addition to the application of punishment and rewards given to teachers, as another effort made by school principals to increase the performance motivation of PAI teachers, namely by holding workshops, socialization, and seminars for teachers so they can increase their abilities and skills.
