Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan menjadi pusat perhatian ketika moral bangsa rusak, timbul pertanyaan-pertanyaan kenapa dengan pendidikan? Ada apa dengan pendidikan? Pada hakikatnya pendidikan adalah upaya memanusiakan manusia atau sering kali dikenal dengan istilah “humanisasi”. Pendididikan mengalami kemunduran nilai pendidikan, pendidikan yang seharusnya memanusiakan manusia, kini dipakai untuk tujuan dan kepentingan pihak-pihak tertentu, terlebih lagi pendidikan memandang peserta didik hanyalah wadah-wadah kosong yang harus diisi dengan berbagai doktrin yang membuat peserta didik hanya berposisi sebagai objek. Banyak para tokoh pendidikan yang menggunakan istilah humanisasi di dalam teori-teori pendidikannya, salah satunya Paulo Freire yang mempunyai konsep humanisasi pendidikan. Dalam pendidikan Islam transformatif juga menangkap hal yang sama berupa humanisasi. Penelitian ini mengangkat rumusan masalah; 1) Bagaimana konsep humanisasi pendidikan menurut Paulo Freire? 2) Bagaimana relevansinya konsep humanisasi pendidikan menurut Paulo Freire dalam pendidikan Islam Transformatif?. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Library Research (studi pustaka) yang bersifat deskriftif analitik dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan descriptive analysist dan Content Analisys (analisis isi). Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kerelevanan antara Konsep Humanisasi Pendidikan Paulo Freire dengan pendidikan Islam transformatif yang pertama dari segi sudut pandang tentang manusia yang mempunyai kehendak atas dirinya untuk merubah sesuatu pada dirinya, pendidikan pembebasan yang mempunyai tujuan memanusiakan manusia, kesadaran yang menjadi langkah awal dalam membentuk manusia yang sejati, dan konsep dasar dialog Paulo Freire dengan konsep musyawarah dan mujahadah yang ada dalam Al-Qur‟an. Kata Kunci: Humanisasi, Paulo Freire, Pendidikan Islam Transformatif, Relevansi iiABSTRACT Education becomes the center of attention when the nation's morale is damaged, the questions arise: why with education? What's with education? In essence, education is effort to humanize humans or often known as "humanization". Education is experiencing a decline in the value of education, education that should humanize humans is now used for the purposes and interests of certain parties. Moreover, education views students as just empty containers that must be filled with various doctrines that make students only position as objects. Many educational figures use the term humanization in their educational theories, one of which is Paulo Freire who has the concept of humanization of education. Transformative Islamic education also captures the same thing in the form of humanization. This study raised the formulation of the problem; 1) What is the concept of humanization of education according to Paulo Freire? 2) How relevant is the concept of educational humanization according to Paulo Freire in Transformative Islamic education? This research is a library research that is descriptive analytic with data collection methods using the documentation method. In analyzing the data, this study used a descriptive analysis and content analysis (content analysis). The research findings show that there is a relevance between Paulo Freire Concept of Humanization of Education and the first transformative Islamic education in terms of the point of view of humans who have a will for themselves to change something in themselves, liberation education which has the aim of humanizing humans, awareness which is the first step in shaping a true human being, and the basic concept of Paulo Freire dialogue with the concepts of deliberation and mujahadah contained in the Qur'an.
