Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan penalaran matematis dan motivasi belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu hal yang harus dimiliki peserta didik. Berdasarkan prapenelitian yang peneliti lakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Belitang Mulya, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik di SMP tersebut masih rendah, hal ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dan hasil tes pada pra penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) adakah perbedaan secara simultan kemampuan penalaran matematis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction, (2) adakah perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction, (3) adakah perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasy Experimental Desaign. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Belitang Mulya tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova) dengan sig < 0,05. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan mendapatkan hasil, pada hipotesis pertama diperoleh nilai diperoleh nilai nilai , sehingga ditolak, hipotesis kedua , sehingga ditolak, hipotesis ketiga diperoleh , sehingga ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan secara simultan kemampuan penalaran matematis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction, (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction, (3) terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dengan yang mengikuti pembelajaran direct instruction. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan, terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) dengan metode reward and punishment dan model direct instruction terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Based on the pre-research that the researcher conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Belitang Mulya, it showed that the mathematical reasoning ability and learning motivation of the students in the junior high school were still low, this was known from the results of interviews and test results in the pre- research that had been carried out. Researchers are interested in applying the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with the reward and punishment method with the aim of finding out: (1) is there a simultaneous difference in the mathematical reasoning ability and learning motivation of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning, (2) is there a difference in the mathematical reasoning ability of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning, (3) is there a difference in learning motivation of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning. This research uses a Quasy Experimental Design type of research. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Belitang Mulya for the academic year 2020/2021. The sampling in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, tests and documentation. Data analysis in this study used the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova) test with sig < 0.05. Based on the calculations that have been carried out, the results are obtained, in the first hypothesis the value of rejected, the second hypothesis is obtained the value of is rejected, the third hypothesis is obtained the value of , so that is , so that , so is rejected. This shows that: (1) there is a simultaneous difference in the mathematical reasoning ability and learning motivation of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning, (2) there are differences in the mathematical reasoning ability of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning, (3) there are differences in the learning motivation of students who take part in Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model with rewards and punishment method with those who follow direct instruction learning Keywords: Learning of Model Search, Solve, Create, And Share (SSCS), Mathematical Reasoning Ability, Learning Motivation.
