Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini di latar belakangi masalah rendahnya kemampuan menyimak pada anak kelompok BI PAUD Kartini II Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. Masalah yang akan diteliti yakni, tentang kemampuan menyimak anak melalui metode bercerita media celemek karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Classroom Action Research atau penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), menggunakan model Kemis dan Mc Tanggart, Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dimana dalam satu siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi dan setiap siklus dilakukan tiga kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan unjuk kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa metode bercerita media celemek karakter dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok BI PAUD Kartini II Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. Dari hasil observasi pada pra tindakan menunjukan bahwa tidak ada anak yang berkriteria sesuai harapan dan tidak ada yang mendapatkan persentase 75% sesuai dengan kriteria keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan penulis. Setelah adanya tindakan Pada siklus I kemampuan menyimak meningkat 50 % atau 8 orang peserta didik dari 20 peserta didik, pada siklus II kemampuan menyimak meningkat 93,75% atau 15 orang peserta didik dari 20 peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya penggunaan metode bercerita media celemek karakter dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok BI PAUD Kartini II Jatimulyo Lampung Selatan. The problem to be studied is about the ability to listen to children through the storytelling method of character aprons. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using the Kemis and Mc Tanggart model. This research consists of two cycles where in one cycle consists of four stages namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection and Each cycle was carried out three meetings. The data collection technique used in this research is to use interview, observation, documentation and performance data collection techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the character apron media storytelling method could improve the listening ability of the children of the BI PAUD Kartini II group, Jatimulyo, South Lampung. From the results of observations in the pre-action shows that there are no children who have the criteria as expected and no one gets a percentage of 75% in accordance with the success criteria that have been set by the author. After the action, in the first cycle the listening ability increased by 50% or 8 students from 20 students, in the second cycle the listening ability increased by 93.75% or 15 students from 20 students. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the character apron media storytelling method can improve the listening ability of the children of the BI PAUD Kartini II group, Jatimulyo, South Lampung.
