Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemampuan penalaran matematis merupakan salah satu kurikulum matematika yang sangat penting. Berdasarkan pra penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil tes awal kemampuan penalaran matematis di Mts Negeri Miftahul Ulum Tanggamus masih tergolong rendah dengan nilai sebanyak 47 dari 58 siswa. Sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk menerapkan metode pemblejaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis dan dapat mengetahui emotional intelligence siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis ditinjau dari emotional intelligence. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis Quasy Eksperimen Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VIII Mts Miftahul Ulum Tanggamus. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan kelas VIII B dan kelas VIIIC.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling dengan materi keliling dan luas lingkaran. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama, dengan tarag signigikan 5% diperoleh (1) , sehingga ditolak dengan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ECIRR terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis (2) ) , sehingga diterima dengan kesimpulan bawah tidak terdapat pengatuh emotioanl intelligence tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis (3) ) , sehingga diterima dengan kesimpulan tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran ECIRR dengan emotional intelligence tinggi, sedang, dan rendah terhadap peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matemaris. Kata kunci : ECIRR, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis dan Emotioan IntelligenceABSTRACT Mathematical reasoning ability is a very importan mathematics curriculum based on the pre-research, it shows that the results of the initial test of mathematical reasoning skills at MTs Negeri Miftahul Ulum Tanggamus are still low whit a value of as many as 47 of 58 students. So that researchers are interestedin applying learning methods that canimprove mathematical reasoning abilities and can find out students’ emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the ECIRR learning model on improving mathematical reasoning skills in terms of emotional intelligence. This research a quantitative research type of Quasy Experiment Design. The population in this study were all class VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum Tanggamus. The sample in this study used class VIIIB and class VIIIC. The sampling teachnique used was cluster random sampling with the circumference and area of the circle. The data analysis of this study used a two-way analysys of variance with different cells, with a significant rate 5% obtained (1) , so that was rejected the value of p-value with the conclusion thst there was an effect of the ECIRR learning model on improving mathematical reasoning abilities. (2) the value of p-value so is accepted with the bottom conclusion that there are no high, medium, and low emotional intelligence adversaries to increase mathematical reasoning abilities. (3) p-value so is accepted with the conlusion that there is no interaaction between the ECIRR learning model with high, medium, and low emotional inteligence on increasing mathematical reasoning abilities.
