After collecting data, analyzing and comparing, this study concludes that the concept of tauhid ittiba' in the perspective of Al Hilali and Rashid Ridha globally is to overwhelm the Prophet to be followed and imitated in religious matters through his character as an explanation for the revelations that Allah sent down as practiced by the Prophet and salaf without bid'ah, taqlid and tamadzhub. Or in other words, making revelation the only way to be followed and imitated in religious matters. Even though they agreed that the Prophet was the only way to know religious matters, Rasyid was pleased with the view that the Prophet's sunnah became the source of law only in the form of the Prophet's actions, in contrast to Al Hilali who considered everything that came from the Prophet as a source of law. This thesis confirms that the tendency of Al Hilai's thinking in his interpretation is salafi, while Rashid is influenced by muktazilah thoughts. However, at the end of his life Rasyid changed his view of the concept of sunnah as the view of the majority of scholars. In addition, following the Prophet was not at odds with the progress of civilization along with the times, in fact he was the principle for the advancement of civilization. KEY WORD: Tauhid Ittiba’ , Sabil Ar Rasyad Fii Hadyi Khair Al Ibad , Tafsir Al Manar ABSTRAK Fahrudin Majid (NPM: 6001616771) Tauhid Ittiba’ dalam Kitab Sabil Ar Rasyad Fii Hadyi Khair Al Ibad dan Tafsir Al Manar (Studi Perbandingan) Tesis ini bertujuan mengekplorasi konsep tauhid ittiba' dalam Al Quran dari perspektif pemikiran dua tokoh penafsir yaitu Dr. Muhammad Taqiyuddin Al Hilali dan Muhammad Rasyid Ridha dalam kitab Tafsir Sabil Ar Rasyad Fii Hadyi Khairi Al 'Ibad dan Tafsir Al Manar. Setelah mengumpulkan data, menganalisa dan membandingkan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep tauhid ittiba' dalam perspektif Al Hilali dan Rasyid Ridha secara global adalah mengesakan Rasulullah untuk diikuti dan diteladani dalam perkara keagamaan dalam sifat beliau sebagai penjelas wahyu yang Allah turunkan seperti yang dipraktekkan Rasulullah dan para salaf tanpa bid'ah, taqlid dan tamadzhub (bermazhab). Atau dengan kata lain menjadikan wahyu sebagi satu-satunya yang wajib diikuti dan diteladani dalam perkara-perkara keagamaan. Meskipun mereka sependapat bahwa Nabi adalah jalan satu-satunya untuk mengetahui urusan agama, namun Rasyid ridha berpandangan bahwa sunnah Nabi yang menjadi sumber hukum adalah yang berupa perbuatan Nabi saja, berbeda dengan Al Hilali yang menilai semua yang berasal dari Nabi adalah sumber hukum. Tesis ini menegaskan bahwa kecendrungan pemikiraan Al Hilai dalam tafsirnya adalah salafi, sedangkan Rasyid terpengaruh pemikiran muktazilah. Namun demikian, di akhir masa hidupnya Rasyid berubah pandangan mengenai konsep sunnah seperti pandangan mayoritas ulama. Selain itu, mengikuti Nabi itu tidak berseberangan dengan kemajuan peradaban seiring perkembangan zaman, bahkan ia merupakan asas bagi kemajuan peradaban.
