Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data awal diketahui bahwa pada umumnya tingkat motivasi berprestasi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam SMK di Kabupaten Pesawawan diindikasikan masih banyak yang rendah. Untuk itu, akan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dan mendalam mengenai motivasi berprestasi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam SMK di Kabupaten Pesawaran dengan rumusan masalah pokok bagaimana motivasi berprestasi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam? sehingga tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis motivasi berprestasi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam SMK di Kabupaten Pesawaran Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK yang ada di Kabupaten Pesawaran berjumlah 14 SMK. Sumber data dipilih secara purposive dan bersifat snowball sampling, diantaranya adalah kepala sekolah dan wakil-wakilnya, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian hasilnya dianalisis dengan melakukan triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Kabupaten Pesawaran memiliki motivasi berprestasi yang tinggi pada aspek (1) bertanggung jawab, (2) menginginkan umpan balik lebih banyak, dan (3) resiko pemilihan tugas yang realistik. Akan tetapi motivasi berprestasi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK Kabupaten Pesawaran masih rendah pada aspek (1) ingin selalu unggul, (2) kreatif dan inovatif, dan (3) menyukai tantangan atau berkompetisi. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka diberikan beberapa rekomendasi bahwa dalam meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi guru, ada beberapa hal yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya adalah (1) melaksanakan supervisi kepala sekolah dengan efektif dan efisien, (2) melakukan pengembangan profesionalitas guru, dan (3) menciptakan budaya mutu di sekolah. Kata Kunci: motivasi berprestasi, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam iiiABSTRACT Based on the results of preliminary data collection, it is known that in general the level of achievement motivation of Islamic religious education teachers in SMK in Pesawawan Regency is indicated to be low. For this reason, further and in-depth research will be carried out regarding the achievement motivation of Islamic religious education teachers in SMK in Pesawaran District with the formulation of the main problem how is the achievement motivation of Islamic religious education teachers? So that the main objective in this research is to analyze the achievement motivation of Islamic religious education teachers in SMK in Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. This research is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in 14 SMK in Pesawaran District. The data sources were selected purposively and were snowball sampling in nature, including principals and their representatives, teachers of Islamic religious education, and students. Collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation techniques, then the results are analyzed by triangulating sources, techniques, and time. The results of the study found that: In general, Islamic religious education teachers at SMK in Pesawaran District had achievement motivation which was shown by the attitude of (1) wanting to always be superior, (2) being responsible, (3) wanting more feedback, (4) the risk of choosing assignments. who are realistic, (5) creative and innovative, and (6) like challenges or competing. However, the achievement motivation of Islamic religious education teachers at SMK Pesawaran District is still low in terms of (1) wanting to always be superior, (2) creative and innovative, and (3) liking challenges or competing. Based on these findings, several recommendations are given that in increasing teacher achievement motivation, there are several things that can be done including (1) implementing effective and efficient supervision of the principal, (2) developing teacher professionalism, and (3) creating a quality culture in school.
